【摘要】:ThissectionofBS7870specifiesrequirementsfortheconstrucion,dimensionsandmechanicalandelectricalpropertiesofXLPEinsulated,concentriccopperwirescreenedwaveformorhelicalcableswithsolidaluminiumcoreconductorshavingaratedvoltageof0.6/1(1.2)kV.Itisapplicabletocablesthat,whenassessedbythespecifiedtests,producelowerlevelsofsmokeandcorrosivegasesunderexposuretofirethancablesconformingtoBS7870-3.11ortoBS7870-3.40.Itspecifiesrequirementsforthefollowingtypesofcable:a)3-core,3-phase,withXLPEinsulaiton,aconcentricneutral/earthconductorofcopperwiresonasyntheticbeddingandathermoplasticoversheath;b)4-core,3-phaseandaseparateneutral,withXLPEinsulaiton,aconcentricearthconductorofcopperwiresonasyntheticbedding,andathermoplasticoversheath.ThissectionofBS7870isapplicabletocablesthataredesignedforamaximumcontinuousconductoroperatingtemperatureof80℃andforamaximumshortcircuitconductortemperatureof250℃.
