【摘要】:Thisstandarddefinesthemodelandcommandsetextensionstofacilitateoperationofautomation/driveinterfacedevices.Theclausesofthisstandard,implementedinconjunctionwiththeapplicableclausesofSPC-3,fullyspecifythestandardcommandsetforautomation/driveinterfacedevices.Theobjectiveofthisstandardistoprovidethefollowing:a)permitanapplicationclienttocommunicateoveraSCSIservicedeliverysubsystem,withalogicalunitthatdeclaresitselftobeanautomation/driveinterfacedeviceinthePERIPHERALDEVICETYPEfieldofthestandardINQUIRYdata(seeSPC-3);b)definecommandsuniquetotheautomation/driveinterfacedevicetype;andc)definecommandsandparameterstomanagetheoperationoftheautomation/driveinterfacedevicetypeandtheoperationoflogicalunitsofotherspecificdevicetypesthatarepresentinthesamedeviceastheautomation/driveinterfacelogicalunit.Thefollowingcommands,parameterdata,andfeaturesdefinedinpreviousversionsofthisstandardaremadeobsoletebythisstandard:Linkedcommands.Figure1showstherelationshipofthisstandardtotheotherstandardsandrelatedprojectsintheSCSIfamilyofstandardsasofthepublicationofthisstandard.Figure1isintendedtoshowthegeneralrelationshipofthedocumentstooneanother.Figure1isnotintendedtoimplyarelationshipsuchasahierarchy,protocolstack,orsystemarchitecture.Itindicatestheapplicabilityofastandardtotheimplementationofagiventransport.CommandsinthisstandarddonotrequiretheuseofaspecificSCSItransportprotocol.
