【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureformeasuringthedrivingtractionofpassengercarandlighttrucktireswhiletravelinginastraightlineonsnow-orice-coveredsurfaces.1.2Thistestmethodutilizesadedicated,instrumented,four-wheelrear-wheeldrivetestvehiclewithaspeciallyinstrumenteddriveaxletomeasurefore-aftandverticalforcesactingonasingledriventesttire.1.3Thistestmethodissuitableforresearchanddevelopmentpurposeswheretiresarecomparedduringasingleseriesoftests.Theymaynotbesuitableforregulatorystatutesorspecificationacceptancebecausethevaluesobtainedmaynotnecessarilyagreeorcorrelateeitherinrankorderorabsolutetractionperformancelevelwiththoseobtainedunderotherenvironmentalconditionsonothersurfacesorthesamesurfaceafteradditionaluse.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Ordinarily,NandkNshouldbeusedasunitsofforce.Thisstandardmayutilizekgfasaunitofforceinordertoaccommodatetheuseofloadandpressuretables,asfoundinotherstandardsbothdomesticandglobalthatarecommonlyusedwiththisstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
